Tape To Cd Burning How Can I Get Music From An Old Cassette Tape Onto A Cd Or My Computer?

How can I get music from an old cassette tape onto a cd or my computer? - tape to cd burning

My uncle was in a bluegrass band in the 80s and came with a copy of the tape of his group into my possession. The only thing I know is leaving. My uncle died in 2000, it is very important to me that this music is stored. Can someone tell me how to put music into a digital file in any way on a computer or burned to CD?

  1. It's pretty simple ..
    You will need:
    Tape
Line cable to the PC and in conjunction with the output belt (if you have a laptop, you may be via USB, in this case, connect an audio interface to connect to)
    Some software --
Start the software, run your tape, and you are ... Results in MP3 recording as WAV files (not MP3, it would be foolish to try to compress and burn to CD)
If you opt for the choice of free software (Audacity), separates the individual record - I recommend to automatically detect and Audi Magix Audio Cleaning Lab is the title of the CD in the software - the user much easier burned as Audacity. ..
All the steps (the software you are here) here:

follow the link on cassette to CD "
    Hope this helps

  3. You can buy a converter to connect from the output of the tape drive on your PC or laptop. to establish (via USB cable), a digital copy. (mp3) format, you can then burn a CD and listen now!
